Highly-rated young defender Ash Ervin is back for a second season as a Firebirds training partner having been in the role in 2022.
The goalkeeper, sometimes described as a "long-armed assassin", combines anticipation to her 191cm frame to pose a towering defensive option.
Ervin was a key part of the Queensland Sapphires team at the 2022 Australian Netball Championship, with the 19-year-old ending the tournament with the most deflections (33), second-most gains (35) and third-most intercepts (15).
