As part of Netball Queensland’s Strategic Plan 2023-25, the organisation has made a commitment to reconnecting with Former Firebirds, cultivating a past player network, and preserving the game’s history.

In Support of Diamond Spirit, Confident Girls Foundation and Netball Queensland aim to provide equal opportunities for physical activity, education and employment among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and girls living in remote and regional communities.
Get behind this fantastic program and have a chance to own a unique piece of Firebirds history! All proceeds raised will go toward the Queensland Firebirds & Netball Queensland Diamond Spirit program.
Learn more about the holistic community engagement programme, which uses netball as a vehicle to engage, empower, and educate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander girls in remote and regional communities across Queensland.
