Jenner, a proud North Queenslander from Townsville, has been an exciting part of the Firebirds team from the moment she signed with the club.
The impressively athletic defender did her ‘apprenticeship’ under Firebird legend Laura Geitz before she retired – with Jenner since stepping up as a senior player.
The time spent learning from Geitz has paid off massively for Jenner, who continues to build on her game year after year.
Whenever KJ is on court there is a sense of excitement as she plays a very attacking and lively style.
This style and notable performances in purple have also seen Jenner selected in the Origin Australian Diamonds squad for the past few years.
The 24-year-old’s defensive skills on the court might also come in handy off the court, as she lives with fellow teammates and the pesty duo of Lara Dunkley and Mia Stower.
