Entering a new era under Head Coach Kiri Wills, the Firebirds will debut a bold playing dress in 2025 featuring striking elements of orange - a nod to the club’s proud history and spirit such as the orange logos on our 2015 premiership-winning dresses.
The agreement will also feature Tribal Sport delivering a dynamic and high-quality range of teamwear, supporter garments, and leisurewear designed to delight Firebirds players, members, and fans alike.
With over 20 years of experience, Brisbane-based Tribal Sport has built a reputation for providing premium teamwear and sports apparel across Australia and beyond.
The Tribal team lives and breathes sport, offering products that cater to everyone involved - from players and club staff to volunteers and loyal supporters - while helping teams stand out on and off the court.
Queensland Firebirds star goal attack Tippah Dwan expressed her excitement about the new partnership and playing dress.
“The Firebirds’ new look is bold, fresh, and a true reflection of the energy we want to bring to the court in 2025,” Dwan said.
“It’s exciting to work with Tribal Sport, a local brand that shares our passion for performance and style.
“Everyone cannot wait to get out on court and showcase all the work we’ve put in throughout the pre-season under Kiri, and I’m sure the Purple Family will be right behind us as they always are.”
Netball Queensland and Queensland Firebirds Chief Executive Officer Kate Davies said the partnership with Tribal Sport would benefit the entire Queensland netball community.
“Tribal Sport will not only outfit our Firebirds but also provide official Netball Queensland apparel for our state competitions and teams, including the 17 and Under, 19 and Under, Queensland Gems, First Nations, and Firebirds Futures Academy squads as well as staff,” Davies said.
“We are thrilled to align with a Queensland brand that understands the needs of our athletes and fans.”
Tribal Sport founder and owner David Lake said it was exciting to have two iconic Queensland brands coming together.
"We're thrilled to partner with the Queensland Firebirds and Netball Queensland, one of Queensland’s most respected and successful sporting organisations both on and off the court,” Lake said.
“Together, we aim to empower athletes and fans alike through our range of innovative products that have been designed with feedback from elite and community netball.
“We look forward to strengthening our connection with the netball community across Queensland as community sport is the foundation that Tribal Sport has been built on and continues to live and breathe day-to-day.”
