A Firebirds fan growing up, tenacious and mobile defender Unie will live out her childhood dream when she dons the purple dress in 2023.
Unie debuted in SSN with the Sunshine Coast Lightning in 2020 but her career hit pause due to an ACL injury at the start of 2021.
Having recovered from that setback, the qualified physiotherapist has made the switch to the Firebirds and is eager to establish herself at the elite level under the tutelage of former Australian defender Bec Bulley - a player she idolised growing up.
