Signed ahead of the 2023 campaign as a replacement player for pregnant Gretel Bueta, Emily Moore is now heading into her fourth season with the Queensland Firebirds after signing a new deal for 2026.

Firebird No.107 has made 37 appearances across her first three years in Purple and established herself as a reliable starting option under new Head Coach Kiri Wills. In 2025, Moore featured in all 14 games, scoring 186 goals including 32 Suncorp Super Shots.

Her breakthrough moment came in 2024 with a starring role in a dramatic victory over the NSW Swifts in Sydney, where her last-gasp two-point shot secured the Firebirds’ first win over the Swifts since 2022.

A two-time championship winner in the NSW Premier League, Moore was part of the Giants Academy before making the move north from her native Sydney. She has also represented Australia at indoor netball and works as a sports coordinator for a Brisbane school.
