Jessica Laga'aia

Jessie Laga'aia carries a name more synonymous with the performing arts with her father Jay a renowned actor and singer and younger sister Catherine forging her own path in Hollywood as the lead in an upcoming live-action Moana movie.

One of eight children, Jessie chose the netball court over stage and screen and has made every post a winner since moving from Sydney - claiming two Katie Walker Medals as HPNL Sapphire Division MVP and being named in the matchday 10 for the Queensland Firebirds in last season's home clash with the Melbourne Vixens.

The New Zealand-born midcourter is also a Samoa international and was named MVP as the Samoa Tifa Moana won the 2025 Pacific Aus Netball Series at Nissan Arena.
