After establishing herself as one of the most dominant goal shooters in world netball in the English Super League, towering Ugandan international Mary Cholhok will bring her talents to Suncorp Super Netball in an exciting coup for the Queensland Firebirds.
Standing at an imposing 201cm, Cholhok spent six seasons in England with the Loughborough Lightning - winning three Grand Finals and finishing as competition top scorer on four occasions.
Bringing athleticism and movement along with her height, Cholhok is sure to pose a prolific scoring outlet for the Firebirds in 2025.
Born in South Sudan before fleeing to Uganda as a child, Cholhok has represented the She Cranes since 2018 and been part of her country's 2019 and 2023 World Cup campaigns and will be the second Ugandan to feature in the SSN after fellow goal shooter Peace Proscovia.
Cholhok's son Jackson was born in 2017 and will join his mother in Brisbane as part of the Purple Family.
