HOWARD Smith Wharves will this weekend be bathed in purple to celebrate the 2022 Queensland Firebirds and broader netball family at the Queensland Firebirds Awards.
A full house is expected tomorrow night at the River Shed for the black tie event, which celebrates the Firebirds’ 2022 Suncorp Super Netball season and everyone who played a role in the mammoth year.
Hosted by Channel 7’s Victoria Carthew, the awards will recognise Netball Queensland’s impressive depth of talent, from Queensland’s developing stars to this year’s Laura Geitz Medal winner which goes to the 2022 Queensland Firebirds Most Valuable Player.
