Bec Bulley’s team will face the Thunderbirds at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Saturday, 13 April.
The Firebirds then head home for back-to-back clashes at Nissan Arena, hosting Giants Netball in round two before old rivals NSW Swifts arrive in Brisbane for an ANZAC Round clash on April 28.
In other 2024 fixture highlights, Queensland host league newcomers Melbourne Mavericks at Nissan Arena on 19 May before travelling to Victoria to face the Mavericks at John Cain Arena in Round 11 on 16 June.
The Firebirds will get their first chance to regain the Queensland Cup when they travel up the Bruce Highway to take on Queensland rivals Sunshine Coast Lightning in a First Nations Round clash at UniSC Arena on 25 May.
The Purple Family will then be out in force for the Firebirds penultimate game of the season, part of the second round of First Nations fixtures when the Lightning head to Nissan Arena for a Round 13 match on 6 July.
“It’s been a long wait for fans but I’m sure they’ll be just as excited as I am to see what matches we’ve got coming up in 2024,” Head Coach Bec Bulley said.
“Starting the season at the reigning premiers will give us a great test from the outset and with back-to-back home games after that, we’re aiming to begin the season in a strong position.
“We often refer to our Purple Family as our eighth player and that’s because it’s true, our fans play a huge role in giving us an edge in the most competitive netball league in the world.
“I can’t wait for the season to get back in front of a packed Nissan Arena doing what we love.”
Queensland wrap up their regular season with another home game, taking on the Melbourne Vixens at Nissan Arena on 13 July.
