Sandholt shot 43 goals at 95 per cent in the 33-goal demolition which lifts the Firebirds Futures to second on the ladder ahead of this weekend's final round of fixtures.
With the Futures having a bye in the final round, it will depend on other results where they finish in the standings heading into the Super Netball Reserves Finals Weekend and 'Play-In Tournament' at Melbourne's Waverley Netball Centre later this month.
Saturday's win was set up with a powerhouse first quarter as the Futures charged to an 18-8 lead at the first break and continued from there with the Lightning Bolts restricted to less than 10 goals in each of the first three quarters.
Queensland Firebird Ashlee Barnett and training partner Lily Gribble were at the heart of the defensive lockdown with support from in-form wing defence Danielle Taylor while Lillyana Rennie was named Players' Player for the Match for her defensive efforts.
Lily Cubby inflicted further pain for the visitors with accurate finishing from Super Shot range as the Futures end their home-and-away campaign with four wins and three losses from their seven matches.
