Queensland Firebirds confirm Jemma Mi Mi will miss tonight’s round 10 match with the Adelaide Thunderbirds after injuring her Achilles tendon.
Mi Mi underwent scans following Sunday’s loss to Collingwood, which revealed a partial tear.
The club and its medical staff will continue to closely monitor the injury over coming days.
Mi Mi will be replaced in the side by exciting training partner Macy Gardner who comes into the team for her first game with the Firebirds for 2022.
