HOME-GROWN sharp shooter Mia Stower has accepted a contract with the Queensland Firebirds, remaining in the nest in 2023 for her second season on the club’s list.
Stower, 22, made herself known in 2022 for her maturity under pressure as she calmly nailed Suncorp Super Shots in crucial moments.
A product of Netball Queensland’s pathways, Stower hails from the regional town of Toowoomba, and developed through the HART Sapphire Series with the Brisbane North Cougars.
We’re ecstatic to have this promising goaler remain in purple, and look forward to watching what magic she can continue to deliver under the post alongside Gretel Bueta.
