Ravaillion, who has missed the past four matches with a lower leg injury, has been named in the squad to face the Swifts as the Firebirds aim to back up their sensational performance last weekend against West Coast Fever, where they claimed an emotion-filled eight-point win.
The Swifts meanwhile are coming off the back of a 20-goal loss to the Melbourne Vixens last weekend that has last year's grand finalists struggling to stay in the finals hunt.
LAST TIME WE MET
The Firebirds were left heartbroken after falling to the Swifts in Round Three by four goals following extra time at Nissan Arena.
Having seemingly been destined for victory, the Firebirds were forced into an extra period when the Swifts nailed a levelling goal right on the fulltime siren.
Queensland were unable to keep pace with the visitors in the added time, despite some excellent two-point shooting from Donnell Wallam, and slipped to a defeat that felt like four points lost.
TEAM NEWS
The return of inspirational captain Ravaillion is a huge in for the Firebirds with the former Australian Diamond to bring her leadership and cool head onto the court against an experienced Swifts line-up.
Young gun Maddi Ridley is player to make way after cameo appearances in the past fortnight including coming on in the final quarter of last weekend's shock win over the Fever.
Tongan international shooter Uneeq Palavi has been retained as a temporary replacement player for the Swifts after making an impressive Suncorp Super Netball debut last weekend in the heavy loss to the Vixens.
KEY MATCHUP - Ruby Bakewell-Doran vs Helen Housby
The English goal attack has been a thorn in the Firebirds for a long time, with her two-point shooting in particular giving defences a headache.
Housby leads the league with 62 Suncorp Super Shots this season and hit seven two-pointers in the Swifts' extra-time win in Brisbane earlier this year.
Bakewell-Doran will be hoping to keep the dangerous Englishwoman at bay and if she can succeed in limiting Housby's influence it will go a long way to ensuring the Firebirds get the result they're seeking.
KEY STAT
The Firebirds have lost six of their past seven matches against the Swifts. The Queenslanders are also seeking their first away win of the season and their first back-to-back victories in 2024.
LAST WORD
"She brings a lot on court and I noticed that today (Friday). She brings a loud voice. She brings direction, encouragement, positivity and I think that's what we all need. She's like a glue to our team so excited to have her back." - Hulita Veve on Kim Ravaillion's impact for the Firebirds.
