The Queensland Firebirds can confirm two late changes ahead of Monday night’s round 11 clash with the Sunshine Coast Lightning at Nissan Arena.
Vice-captain Tara Hinchliffe will miss the clash after injuring her leg at training on Sunday, with the key defender to undergo further treatment.
Ruby Bakewell-Doran comes in for her second appearance in Purple.
The other out is goal attack Tippah Dwan who will undergo 14 days of home quarantine as a directive of the Queensland Health.
Dwan, who travelled to Melbourne with the Firebirds to keep the Suncorp Super Netball league season going, visited a café on July 14, which has since been declared as a Tier 1 Coronavirus exposure site.
The club can confirm Dwan was following correct protocol when she visited the café, and like many is simply just caught up in an unfortunate situation.
After being contacted by the Department of Health on Sunday, Dwan immediately informed the club who facilitated for her to be tested and she returned a negative result.
The goal attack has been in home quarantine since and will continue to follow quarantine requirements.
Dwan is receiving full support of her family, the club, her teammates and the league.
The game will go ahead as planned and crowds will be able to attend Nissan Arena.
Dwan will be replaced in the side by emerging goal attack Mia Stower.
