As pre-season gets underway, their friendship is helping both recruits embrace a new chapter.
“Knowing that I had Lily to sort of fall on almost and have her beside me, I think makes it a lot easier,” Packer said.
Graham is equally delighted to reunite with her gold medal-winning teammate.
“Winning the gold and winning it with Tab, and now we’re here together is just amazing,” she said.
Packer arrives from South Australia for her first full-time Super Netball contract after serving as an Adelaide Thunderbirds training partner.

The versatile defensive midcourter and goal defence was named Under-17 National Championship MVP in 2022 before claiming Grand Final MVP honours in South Australia’s Under-19 championship triumph in 2023.
With her brother also in Brisbane, Packer is enjoying the warmer weather and welcoming environment.
“I’ve loved it so much. I think all the girls are so friendly,” she said.
Her season focus is building confidence, learning from experienced teammates and developing her wing defence game.
Graham is hoping to establish herself after playing 21 matches for the Melbourne Vixens across three seasons following her 2024 debut.

The goal attack will combine with Australian Diamonds shooter Cara Koenen and New Zealand international Te Paea Selby-Rickit.
“I’m really excited for a new opportunity,” Graham said.
“I just can’t wait for our first training session together.”
Away from court, she is embracing independence and exploring Brisbane.
“Everyone’s been super welcoming, and it’s just a great vibe at the club already,” she said.
“I am living with some great people.”
