Elsa Sif Sandholt

Icelandic-born goal shooter Elsa Sif Sandholt returns to the Queensland Firebirds as a training partner for 2027 after a breakout season in Purple.

Firebird No.117 first joined the senior program as a training partner in 2025, making her Super Netball debut in the final round against the NSW Swifts. She took another significant step forward in 2026 after earning the club’s Eleventh Player position, making five appearances and scoring 58 goals, including eight Super Shots.

A former Australian 21U squad member, Sandholt also toured Tonga with the Australian Pathways team in 2025.

Combining height and athleticism with increasing composure under the post, Sandholt continues to establish herself as one of the country’s most promising young shooters.
