Kimiora Poi
Dynamic New Zealand midcourter Kimiora Poi arrives in Brisbane fresh from winning gold with the Silver Ferns at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Blessed with exceptional speed, precision passing and attacking flair, Poi is capable across both attacking midcourt positions. She is most damaging at centre but is equally effective at wing attack, while her work rate also makes her a relentless defensive presence. Silver Fern No.174 made her international debut against England in January 2019 and has since accumulated 32 Test caps. Her international honours include the 2017 World Youth Cup title with New Zealand’s Under-21 team, the 2018 FAST5 Netball World Series crown and Constellation Cup victories in 2021 and 2024. Poi also brings extensive leadership experience, having captained both the Mainland Tactix and Southern Steel during a national league career spanning more than 100 matches. She is no stranger to Suncorp Super Netball, having previously featured as a replacement player for the Collingwood Magpies in 2019, and now returns to Australia as one of the Southern Hemisphere’s most exciting midcourt talents.FIND OUT MORE
