Caitlyn Nevins

Despite being born and raised in Victoria and beginning her career with the Melbourne Vixens claiming an ANZ Championship in 2014, Caitlyn Nevins is now well and truly a Queenslander.

In her first year in Brisbane, Caitlyn played a key role in the Firebirds 2015 and 2016 premierships wins.

Being quick on her feet has worked well for Nevins who is a fully qualified podiatrist and has now settled down in life with husband Sam and her beloved border collie in Brisbane.

The Firebirds flyer made her national debut with the Australian Fast5 side in October 2016, which was followed by her first Diamonds caps during the Quad Series Tour of England in early 2017.

Caitlyn brings a cool head and quiet determination to the Firebirds midcourt and her experience in pressure situations will be invaluable as the team look to carry form and momentum into their 2019 campaign.

Caitlyn retired from professional netball in 2019.
