Rising star Shearer's impressive performances in her debut Suncorp Super Netball campaign indicate a bright future lies ahead for the 189cm Rockhampton product.

Shearer became Firebird No.110 after debuting against the Melbourne Vixens in Round 4 of the 2024, going on to appear in seven matches.

Most notably, Shearer made her first start and played a full game in the Round 11 triumph over West Coast Fever - recording three gains, four deflections and three rebounds against Fever and Jamaica legend Jhaniele Fowler-Nembhard.

Rewarded with a new contract for the 2025 season, the Queensland pathways product will be eager to build on her eye-catching initial showings in the Purple dress in the season ahead.

Tall and mobile, Shearer uses her reach and athleticism to provide a stiff challenge for attackers and will be eager to build her partnership with defensive counterparts Ruby Bakewell-Doran and Ash Barnett.
