A premiership winner with Adelaide in 2023, Tippah Dwan returned to the Firebirds in 2024 to provide mobility in the final third as well as a threat from anywhere in the circle.

The Queensland 19 and Under captain in 2018, Dwan was part of the Firebirds set-up from 2017 to 2022 with her big break coming in 2020 after being elevated to the squad as a replacement player for Gretel Bueta, scoring 184 goals and notching 148 goal assists and 255 feeds in her debut campaign.

Bueta’s return in 2021 meant Dwan was used as a third-choice goaler, but still shot 48 goals and recorded 62 goal assists and 101 feeds.

Her two seasons in Adelaide culminated in the 2023 Grand Final triumph while she made her Fast5 debut for Australia in the 2023 World Series in New Zealand.

With her AFL-playing partner Josh Dunkley, who is contracted to the Brisbane Lions, also based in Queensland, Dwan will be eager to establish a new attacking partnership with Ugandan international Mary Cholhok in 2024.
